How Scoring Works
Each proposed meeting time receives a score out of 10 based on four weighted factors:
- 40% Availability
- How many team members can attend during their normal working hours. The more people available, the higher the score.
- 30% Mid-day Preference
- Favors times in the middle of the workday for each participant. Early morning or late evening slots score lower.
- 20% Fairness
- Ensures no single time zone is consistently burdened with inconvenient hours. Distributes the discomfort evenly across the team.
- 10% DST Safety
- Avoids times that fall near upcoming daylight saving time transitions, reducing the risk of meetings being disrupted by clock changes.
